HIHI: This is a group of volunteers who will help out at the Huntington Interfaith Homeless Initiative by bringing/serving and sharing a meal with homeless guests at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church on occasional winter Tuesday nights.  Volunteers include youth and adults of all ages.  A wonderful opportunity to live out your faith and help those in need!

The program is held weekly on Wednesday mornings,(for 51 out of 52 weeks this year).  Pastor Ahlman administers communion about once a month.

Welcoming/Evangelism: This group’s goal is to reach more people with the saving gospel of Jesus Christ and to become more of a presence in the Hauppauge community.

Men's Group

Join the Calvary men...

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, September 15th. The Men’s Group will be holding a blood drive here at Calvary. There is a sign up sheet for blood donors in the lobby. We encourage everyone who is able, to give blood. Ray Silk, head of the Men’s Group will be available to answer questions and to get you signed up. Let’s make this a great drive. It has been many years since Calvary participated in or ran a blood drive. Tell your family, you neighbors and your coworkers. Approximate times of collection will be 3:00 to 8:00 pm. Come before the kids get out of school, come after work, come after dinner; just COME.
